The Plan.

So how do we make this happen?

Our Vision

Supporting, encouraging and promoting a vibrant happy community spirit through the provision of an accessible, welcoming, safe and versatile space, available to all for the enjoyment of a wide range of activities.

Our Mission

To deliver a modern, valued and sustainable amenity to fulfil the needs, realise the aspirations and promote the wellbeing of our local community.

Our Values

Ashreigney Village Hall actively recognizes and values equality and diversity, welcoming individuals and groups without distinction of age, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or belief, ability or disability.

Meet the Team

Reed Partridge (Chairman)

Reed‘s family roots in Ashreigney go back over 110 years. It is perhaps not surprising therefore that he pursued a career in Agriculture. He actually attended the Village school (which is now the Village Hall) so his knowledge of the building is extensive. He is well known in north Devon bell ringing circles having been the Bell Captain at St James’ Church for many years. As well as chairing the Renovation Steering Group he is also Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Ashreigney Village Hall CIO.

Chris Paterson-Deacon

Chris moved to the Parish of Ashreigney 14 years ago. A former Trustee on the Village Hall Committee, she now concentrates her efforts on the renovation Project. Recognising the pivotal importance of the Village Hall, she still volunteers her time to help out at various Ashreigney events. Her varied background in numerous Leadership and Management roles includes project management and design.

Richard Quinn

Richard moved to Devon in 2019 and is now retired.  Together with his wife and 3 dogs, he enjoys exploring Devon and the surrounding counties. He is a keen cyclist, and a member of Okehampton Cycling Club.

Kasia Gdaniec

Kasia moved to Bourne from Cambridgeshire in late 2022 where she worked as an archaeologist. She loves walking in the hills, moors and along the Devon coast with her dog and family.
